The weather is warming up and visions of summer days to come are dancing in all of our heads! However, there is no shortage of fun to be had in the final months before summer makes its official appearance. The friendly tourists are already starting to pile in true South Walton form, we have plenty of unique events for everyone to enjoy this month! Here are some unique events happing in April that we think you should check out!
Cocktails & Classics at The Pearl Rooftop
I don’t know about you, but they had us at cocktails on the rooftop! And at The Pearl rooftop, no less. Come out to the Havana Beach Rooftop Lounge on Saturday nights at 7pm and enjoy a classic film, food and drinks, and a good time. Admission is complimentary (and so is the popcorn)! There will be other food available for purchase and the bar will be open until 10pm.
Farmers Market to Table Cooking Demo at The Pearl
Speaking of The Pearl in Rosemary Beach, this is another event that may tickle your fancy, especially for the locals! We have no shortage of impressive Farmers Markets scattered along 30A, so this cooking demo would be a great way to make the most out of your seasonal ingredients that you score each week at the market. You will also learn how to preserve the flavor and nutrients of your market finds when cooking them. Reservations are preferred for this event. Get more information here! Mind. Body. Beach. at Sandestin
As part of the weekend festivities of the Sandestin Wine Festival, you can enjoy a yoga class on the beach, complete with mimosas! Tickets are $25 and you can get them online. What a great way to start your day and weekend, am I right? Find more information here. Tickets to the Sandestin Wine Festival are not required to attend this event.
Where the Wild Things Run 5K at E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center
Earth Day is Friday, April 22nd and this race would be the perfect way to celebrate the occasion, happening the following day – Saturday, April 23rd. It’s hard to beat getting in some great exercise while also exploring the beauty and property surrounding E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center. Runners, joggers and walkers of all ages are welcome, but this trail is not stroller or pet friendly. Find more information here!
Seabreeze Jazz Festival in Panama City Beach
Happening Friday, April 22nd through Sunday, April 24th, this event is a dream come true for jazz lovers! This is the Seabreeze Jazz Festival’s 18th year and it just gets better every year. This event takes place at venues in and around Pier Park, including the Aaron Beasant Park Amphitheater. This event may even bring out the jazz lover inside that you didn’t even know was there!
