Have you heard about Emerald Coast Pedal Tours? You may think that you’ve experienced everything that 30A has to offer, but these group tours are an experience not to be missed! Explore the area on a pedal bike, visit popular restaurants/bars in the area and just enjoy a fun filled day with family and friends!
How does a pedal bike work?
There has to be a minimum of 6 passengers in order to have enough ‘pedal power’ for the bike to operate. If you don’t have 6 people in your party, no worries! They will match you up with another group tour. There is a guide that steers the bike, while the passengers pedal along. Basically, you are having fun and getting a workout at the same time!
Where does the pedal tour go?
The Grayton Beach Tour will take you all around town and will make stops at some of the area’s best bars and restaurants – it’s a pedal tour pub crawl! Grayton Beach has some new, exciting venues such as The Craft Bar and Chiringo and you will also make stops at some of the classic spots such as The Red Bar and Hurricanes Oyster Bar and Grill.
What should you bring on the pedal tour?
Well, all you really need to bring is yourself and a happy attitude, but some things that you may want to consider bringing could include –
- Water to stay hydrated – this is Florida!
- Cash – some of the bars/restaurants that we will stop at only accept cash
- Comfortable shoes that are made for pedaling
- Drinks and a small cooler if preferred (all alcoholic beverages should be in a plastic cup)
- Decorations for the pedal bike – decorations make everything more fun, right?
What NOT to bring on the pedal tour
- Absolutely no glass is allowed on board
- Flip flops are not recommended
- Absolutely no illegal substances
- No bad attitudes allowed
- No liquor
How long are the tours?
Each tour lasts 2 hours, but keep in mind that you won’t be pedaling for the full 2 hours. The tour makes several stops, allowing you to relax and enjoy each venue.
